Plant External Repair Superintendent (INA-12-BPN-00020)

Responsibilities:
Monitoring the accurate completion of warranty & external repair work in progress reports weekly highlighting any issues
Review the analysis of component condition and recommendation of parts required in relation warranty claim and equipment component quotation
Controlling all component failure investigation and supporting documentation are completed to support off site repair and Claims.
Monitoring all warranty claims are researched, documented and submitted in order to achieve positive claim results
Monitoring investigation progress and all reports of all accident damage and potential rework issues arising from warranty and component investigation (include abuse)
Ensure Leighton system are updated with all details of warranty claims or external repair data
Review weekly and monthly report as required in relation to warranty and external repair.
Comply with all applicable health, safety and environmental laws, regulations and statutory obligations at all time
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Automotive) or equivalent
At least 10 years working experience in related field, and 5 years experience in supervising a team
In-depth knowledge of heavy earth moving products, power generation equipment
In-depth understanding of the overall budget and long term plans for the maintenance and repair equipments
MS Office proficiency

Setting, maintaining and auditing plant equipments as per engineering standards
Minimise the consequences and cost of failures and maximise productivity
Maintaining heavy equipment assets and calculating cost of rent that will be charge to each site
Contact the vendor/supplier for standard equipment unit that will be bought as capital asset Identify & make analysis of performance equipment as per plant costing
Coordinating with other parties for mobilisation unit and make sure the heavy equipment units are running well
