Business Development Specialist Job (Power Tools), Balikpapan
Balikpapan (Kalimantan Timur)

Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of one of the world’s leading power tool companies, which is seeking a Business Development Specialist, to be based in Balikpapan, Indonesia. The winning candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in industrial and channel management in the oil and gas, and mining industries. The successful applicant will have a solid understanding of the growth trends, key developments, competitive offers, service demands and needs of the vertical markets.

Responsibilities:

Maps out new project pipelines and engages end-users directly
Determines the right product mix
Formulates sales plan with distributors
Supervise and support distributors in their execution of sales activities and monitor their sales progress
Work with marketing department to build brand awareness, create brand embedment and expand market share
Work with demand planner toensure products forecasting can support the strategic sales plan to serve the needs of the vertical markets
Develop and maintain good relationships with both end-customers/distributors
Monitor sales performance versus sales targetsto ensure alignment
Prepare sales reports detailing sales performance, progress, opportunities and risks
Follow up all issues raised by market’s end-customer/distributor such as product enquiries, marketing programs, ordering, deliveries, invoicing, payment and other related matters
Coordinate with internal departments to seek appropriate resolution to all work issues
Perform other related duties or assignments as directed

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing/Equivalent
5 years’ experience in industrial and channel management forBalikpapan (oil and gas, and mining)
Strong related vertical market exposure
Extensive experience in oil and gas, and mining industries
Result driven
Has the initiative to work well independently
Costumer focused
Strong selling, negotiation and communication skills
Hands-on report writing and data-analysis skills
