ENGINEER – CIVIL JOB VACANCY

(Fixed Term Position)

Key elements of the position include:


  • Design/monitor mine civil works, etc. within mining areas, such as road maintenance/construction, installation of water management structure, and pond construction/maintenance; liaise regularly with project custodian to understand their requirements; monitor project regularly and resolve any problems with related personnel promptly.
  • Monitor and report on contractor performance as KPI on all production, quality, safety, and environmental aspects of contractor operations.
  • Direct and oversee activities related to Contractor Performance Evaluation.
  • Prepare strategy and activity plans; manage and control weekly and monthly plan implementation and report.
  • Promote and reinforce compliance with company’ s safety rules and regulation to all staff and contractors.
  • Promote and reinforce compliance with company’ s health and environmental management policy; monitor operational activities to identify non-conformance and taking the appropriate corrective measures.

Qualifications:


  • Possess S1 degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable university with at least 3 year’ s experiences within engineering level in Mining Civil Project Area.

PLANNER JOB VACANCY

(Fixed Term Position)

Key elements of the position include:


  • Control the Work Order System to ensure that the information is maintained to a high level of data integrity by performing regular audits of the system.
  • Prepare Monthly Work Order Frequency Analysis Statistics for the equipment in each area and ensure the integrity of the data.
  • Maintain the Equipment Register in relation to registering new equipment into the system, and equipment being transferred from one section/department/division to another.
  • Maintain the Standard Jobs System Maintain Equipment Reference Manuals for each equipment type which identifies the KPC maintenance requirements for servicing, reports, overhauls, parts and task procedures.
  • Maintain the Component Register in relation to components being overhauled.
  • Maintain the Application Parts Lists (APL’ s) for services as directed by the Maintenance Superintendents.
  • Control the Maintenance Scheduling System.
  • Works with the Maintenance Superintendent and the Maintenance Supervisors on a weekly basis, to prepare plans and work schedules for labour allocation and job priorities and provides the scheduled maintenance/production plans at the designated meetings.
  • Assists the Maintenance Superintendent with preparation of maintenance budget.
  • Maintains and controls the backlog control system to ensure that all outstanding work, in every category (such as Routine Maintenance, PM, Projects, Modifications, etc) is identified and quantified.
  • Prepares detailed work planning, Gantt Chart and schedules for major shut downs, equipment overhauls and repair jobs, calculating labour and other resource requirements and monitors progress and costing of shutdowns.
  • Ensures the recording of statistical data and information and maintain maintenance performance statistics.
  • Co-ordinates electrical, instrumentation and mechanical maintenance requirements of the Maintenance Supervisors and informs adjacent areas of planned shutdowns.
  • Co-ordinates special equipment (such as cranes etc) requirements.
  • Monitor HSE aspects of operational activities.
  • Promote and reinforce continuous improvement efforts within the Section.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum a D3 Engineering Diploma, coupled with at least 6 years’ experience in heavy industry, preferably Power Generation with at least 2 years at supervisory level.
  • Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of planning and scheduling techniques and processes.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation.
  • Basic knowledge of statistical analysis.
  • Good knowledge of and experience with computerised maintenance systems as well as general PC systems. Ability to use and apply project planning software (MS Project).



GEOLOGIST JOB VACANCY

(Fixed Term Position)

Key elements of the position include:


  • Obtain data from logging cuttings and cores, progressively interprets geological information, and assists in planning further work or modification of the current drilling program.
  • Conduct field mapping, marks coal seam outcrops and other geological features and informs surveyor to pick them up.
  • Organize the collection of geotechnical and coal quality samples as requested by the particular department section.
  • Supervise other field operations-drill track clearing, pegging of drill-hole sites, geophysical logging.
  • Completes lithological chip, core and reconciled log using geophysical logs to ensure that thickness of lithological units is correct and accurately entered to the database.
  • Ensure that when reconciling the lithological logs that down-hole geophysics are extensively used to correlate all the coal seams within the borehole.
  • Liaise with Mine Geologist to coordinate drilling around active mine areas.


Qualifications:


  • Graduate Geology (S1) from a recognized tertiary Institution with 3 years experiences in geology exploration / mining.
  • Good understanding of the quality and properties of the coal.
  • Extensive software skills such as MS Project, MS Access and MS Excel.
  • Have driving license – SIM A and off road driving experience.
  • Good Interpersonal and Communications skills in booth Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Common sense basic bush/jungle survival skills.


ENGINEER – GEOTECHNICAL JOB VACANCY

Key elements of the position include:


  • Assist Geotechnical Superintendent to ensure geotechnical objectives and goals.
  • Conduct pit slope stability analysis using available software.
  • Understand and implement the procedures outline in the field procedural manual.
  • Liaise with the drilling supervisor regarding execution of the Geotechnical drilling program.
  • Gather field and laboratory data to be processed for further Geotechnical assessment work.
  • Together with Mining Engineer and pit supervisor conducted regular pit inspection
  • Ensure day by day the mining activity follow geotechnical recommendation and assist in planning further modification of the current pit design.
  • Ensure and be responsible for the geotechnical rock mass characterization, rock mass classification, rock mass strength, and ground monitoring instrumentation databases.
  • Gathers geotechnical monitoring data; interpreted the result and inform to pit supervisor any indication of instability.
  • Supervise geotechnical laboratory activity and ensure test procedure applied at all time.
  • Commitment to KPC safety and environment regulations.


Qualifications:


  • Graduate Geology Engineering / Mining Engineering from a reputable tertiary institution.
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 grade scale.
  • Having minimal 3 years’ experience in Geotechnical to be prioritized.
  • Good understanding of mine geotechnical and geotechnical monitoring methods.
  • Good understanding of geotechnical issues and laboratory test methods.
  • Holding driving license – SIM A.
  • General computers skills such as MS Windows, Excel, Word, Power Point.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (written & oral) in both bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Good understanding of geotechnical software in particular Geo-Studio (Slope/W) & Rocscience (Phase2 & Slide)
