- Search available products to find the best combination of quality, price and delivery
- Ensuring all received requisitions are process to be purchase and converted to PO
- Ensuring all PO issuance are closed by determining that all materials, received in good conditions and as per requirements.
- Negotiate with vendors on pricing, specifiying qualities, quantities and delivery schedules to serves as per users need.
- Monitor stock levels and verify purchase requisition
- Maintain professional relationships with all key suppliers
Requirement Purchaser Job Vacancy #441081831:
- Bachelor degree majoring in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- 2 years experience in a purchasing role (preferably from Marine/Shipping industry or supply chain management)
- Strong communication, negotiation and persuasion skills
- Good analytical and mathematical capabilities in order to compare prices and quantities and consider vendor contract terms.
- Ability to evaluate market conditions and various suppliers
- Able to work within a cross cultural, cross functional and dynamic environment.
- Has good understanding about payable matters
