AFTER SALES and SERVICE ENGINEER (BALIKPAPAN)
Responsibilities:
This role carries responsibilities in two key categories:
1) After Sales Service Engineering Support
- Perform after sales service engineering support to KAESER customers in Kalimantan. This includes scheduled preventive maintenance as well as reactive problem-solving support.
- Optimize maintenance visit schedule. Analyze and solve technical problems at customer sites
- Transfer best practices and skills to customer maintenance staff
2) Preventive Maintenance Contract - and Spare Parts Sales
- Develop and execute plan to increase number of customers with a preventive maintenance contract in Kalimantan
- Spare parts sales. Ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor and optimize sparepart stock availability at the Balikpapan site
- Additional responsibilities: regular reporting to the Service Manager based in Jakarta. Develop and maintain good relationships with customer maintenance staff to ensure excellent customer satisfaction ratings.
General Qualifications:
- Customer- / service-oriented approach
- Min. D-3 Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- Min. 3 years experience in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment in trading company
- Able to read electrical wiring diagram (DIN standard)
- Able to perform preventive maintenance for diesel engines. Knowledge of refrigeration technology will be an advantage.
- Capable to drive and in possession of a valid SIM A
- Willing to travel to industrial / remote areas within Kalimantan
- Good written and verbal English skills
