In line with our future growth, we are looking for Expression of Interest from skilled Indonesian national Superintendent Lifting Equipment to join our Plant Operations team in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, Indonesia.
Some of your duties will include:
- Responsible for supervising lifting activities and maintain the highest quality standards while administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities
- Ensure installation in compliance with project specifications, drawings and aplicable code requirements
- Ensure that all inspection reports are accurate and that all attached documents are current status
- Ensure all work is correctly prepared prior to any inspection being undertaken
- Ensure that each reporting supervisor is capable of performing their allocated scope of work
- Direct all field personnel including those of construction jobs to achieve completion of the project on schedule
- Review all inspection reports for compliance. Coordinate with the customers QC inspectors for the resolution of site quality related problems
- Understand the project plans and specifications, identify and solve problems, order materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process
- Lead, motivate, communicate with, develop, appraise and performance manage staff to ensure that staff are fully motivated to achieve best performance to meet the project and company needs
- Witness inspection/test within their disciplines based on approved required
What skills and experience do you need?
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years experience in directly involved with crane and rigging operation, five of which must have been in a supervisory position
- Competent with load calculations and design and specification of rigging and engineering drawings
- Good knowledge of managing rigging and heavy lifting activities
- Good knowledge of lose lifting equipment and rigging and heavy lifting activities
- English and computer proficiency
