JOB DESCRIPTION
I. POSITION INFORMATION

- Position title: Health Team Assistant
- Position grade: General Service / G4
- Base Salary: IDR 9,266,750 per month
- Duty station: Balikpapan
- Type & duration of Contract: Special All Inclusive Contract for 3 (three) months, with the possibility of extension. The tenure of contract of internal candidate holding a Fixed Term/Regular contract will remain unchanged.

- Overall supervision by : Head of Sub Office/RCA Programme Coordinator in Makassar

II. ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT AND SCOPE

Under the direct supervision of Head of Sub office Balikpapan for administrative matters and technical supervision MHP Balikpapan and SMHP in Makassar; and Overall supervision by RCA program coordinator (Eastern Indonesia region) and SMHA in Jakarta, and, the Health Team Assistant will assist in the planning, implementation and monitoring of Health components in close coordination with the relevant units. In particular, the incumbent will be responsible for the following functions
III. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide assistance to MHP and Head Sub Office Balikpapan to ensure that all health components of the project are implemented in line with logical frame works.
- Support monitoring and evaluation health programme for asylum seekers/refugees/ irregular migrants under IOM care (IOM beneficaries) in IDC Balikpapan, community accomodation and interception sites in East Kalimantan area.
- Provide assistance in establishing, maintaining and monitoring health assistance for beneficiaries in IDC Balikpapan, community accomodation and interception sites in east Kalimantan area by providing weekly field visitation
- Liaise with IOM panel health facilities (primary, secondary and tertiary care facilities) to maintain quality assurance respecting IOM procurement and financial procedures and regulations
- In close coordination with MHP, liaise with relevant (health) authorities regarding the health issues of IOM beneficairies including their voice as well as inline within IOM Operations guideline
- In collaboration with MHP, identify and make necessary arrangements for health service in IDC, community accomodation and interception sites with secondary and tertiary care facilities for referral of migrants while respecting IOM procurement and financial procedures and regulations.
- In collaboration with part time physician/nurse, ensure that IOM health assistance for beneficiaries adheres to essentials of primary care principles, rational utilization of secondary and tertiary health care.
- Provide support on budgeting preparation and verifying day to day operational needs in providing primary care based health service provisions and facilitation for preventive care and accessing secondary and tertiary care services including payment cycle to implementing partners.
- In collaboration part time physician /nurse, eensure that emergency medical referral systems are establish in IDC Jimbaran and interception sitesefficiently as medical needs in coordination with relevant authorities and IOM Health/Operations staff in the field.
- Provide assistance to MHP to manage need assessment, and health behavior of irregular migrants on a regular basis and inform MHP on intervention such as health promotion and other needs on a quarterly basis.

a) Knowledge in assisting emergency operations activities;
b) Effectively applies knowledge of health issues in execution of responsibilities at appropriate level
c) Maintains confidentiality and discretion in appropriate areas of work
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
a) Indonesian National with good knowledge of, and experience in project implementation and operational.
b) University Degree in psychology, Social science, counselling, management or Economic.
c) At least five years of experience in any of these fields, particularly in dealing with migrants and trainings.
d) Experience in provision of community based training activities
VI. LANGUAGES
Language: Thorough knowledge of English and Bahasa Indonesia
